Lack COM port as a simple TTL - USB - COM converter easy to use (driver: Prolific PL-2303HX) For Arduino programming the DTR terminal for reset is missing - you must therefore press the reset button at the right moment. The red port is claimed by from home with + 5V USB power and can operate smaller circuits with the 5V from the USB port. With a little soldering experience you can rebuild the red wire on the 3.3V terminal of the converter. The cable is about 1m long and the converter sits directly in the housing of the USB-A connector. The connector housing is not bonded and can be opened without tools.
