The device is really only one modem, so it has no integrated router. Thus it is for those in question, which already have a router and DSL require Ethernet converter only. It also has no problem with "jumbo frames", ie packets are longer than 1500 bytes. Thus it cuts no VLAN tag and is therefore fully appropriate for the target network architecture of Telekom in the T-Entertain rates. Two small criticisms:
1) The DSL Sync takes compared to other modems a little longer (with me up to 2 minutes) 2) The DSL connection cable is only a very short cable (150cm) with RJ11 connectors. Anyone who wants to use his already somewhat longer RJ45 cable, should be equal also look for suitable cables for the RJ45 plug will not fit here.
