Simple in appearance, but a sound swank!

I looked to our modern facilities a simple stylish looking device with excellent sound. It serves as a second machine next to our great surround system and should be good for breakfast and dinner for the news and a little entertainment. The problem is we have a very large living room of over 125 square meters with a lot of glass, even the sloping roof is made of glass. This is less than ideal for a hi-fi and we were looking at first until we had found a good, suitable device for this space conditions. Jatzt but we wanted a small unit for the dining area, which is simple to use and reasonably good sound. We chose the Yamaha MCR-042 and decided and properly. It surpasses all of our expectations in these premises, it is more than a small component device: It is a small miracle of sound! Despite the difficult geographic conditions and the size of the space, it achieves a pleasant sound. The basses are of course not tough, but it should not be for this purpose. We had already spent many pleasant hours and I would buy it again at any time. Here one does not buy a pig in a poke, but good sound quality at a reasonable price.
