- The radio itself acts relatively wertig - although the surface is vile plastic that forms are simple, but act on the whole rather pleasant to the eye.
- The service is a bit bumpy and acts initially little counterintuitive, but I got used quickly to the realities and come now quite well due to the simple menu navigation. Nevertheless, I subtract a star because I have the general menu navigation, incl. Service seen much better, even with inexpensive equipment.
- The remote control is small, light and looks rather cheap, but also works across a 35sqm room perfectly. The pressure points are working properly.
- The device will take a few minutes because you have to wade through the menus via dial.
- The TV channels is almost confusing large - thousands of stations is very many flavors (from 70 about Talk to comedy, and more). But you can search for specific stations or partial words, what I really helped to find my favorite stations (eg Radio Wazee or Idobi Radio). All my favorite stops were in the station list.
- The connection quality can vary greatly depending on the selected station. If the internet radio station offers just one lousy data connection, the radio will also play only intermittently music.
Although this was supposed to be logical, but is not noticed by some reviewers - the radio can turn a bad (data) stream no better. Only when another device reproduces perfectly at home the same stream, it is probably a hardware error in radio.
- The built-in speakers sonicated a large space in my case perfectly, but I have to say that I would not have high demands on a single Winz speaker that is in a small plastic case ...
As a normal kitchen radio or the background music completely and more than adequate - techno parties are hereby throws but no better.
Unfortunately, the radio has now refused to serve a few times after switching on.
Apparently, it sometimes finds the wireless network is not, although it is about 50 cm next to the router.
Since all other devices could easily establish connections wired and wireless in the house at these times, I strongly suspect that the radio has a problem.
Since the 'silent period' was every few minutes ago (probably after the device retried, dial-in), I draw from only one star - the inconvenient fact remains nevertheless.
The conclusion is broadly positive in everything.
Despite sporadic connection problems and the control weaknesses 3 star stay with a strong tendency to 4 star ... but only as long as the connection remains stable.
I will add an update in a few weeks and talk about my other experiences.
