"Away from it all" and "Close to you" put together two young adults taken into deep turmoil. These two novels invite us to go on adventures with them, to follow them on a journey that, somewhere, is revealed initiation, since they go in search of themselves and eventually reveal them gradually -Same simultaneously to each other, one by the other ...
Their unexpected encounter while fleeing on a whim "away" will enable them to reconstruct a present and a future transcending their past, will teach them to leave the marked paths, to always exceed for the love of the other, to marvel at each second shared around the most innocuous events as the most emotionally heavy ...
The writing of the author is simple, but authentic. I also appreciated the alternation of views between the two protagonists, relatively dichotomous initially, eventually became, especially in the second novel, a crossfade reflecting the symbiosis of this couple in many exemplary titles.

Andrew: "Today is the first day of the rest of our lives."
Camryn: "(...) when the spell seems hell-bent is that Existence frees up space for other upcoming events, much nicer."
What a beautiful way! What a great life lesson ...
