Three units can be connected to three different long cables. The tape on the sensors are sufficiently strong and the length of the cable is sufficient for a normal cabinet. The length of the sensor cable could be a bit longer, but all it takes to reach the top or bottom of a Highborads (or sidewall). Even the USB cable could be easily connected with me from my receiver and supplies the small controller with reliable electricity. What I do miss in the other reviews, is the poor sensitivity of the sensor. This only works reliably, if rather exactly to this is targeted and the sensor is aligned in the direction of the remote control. The distance should not be too big - and that may be the case even at 3 meters. I sit relatively close to the sensor so that it is sufficient in my case. Also, the sensor could be well hidden. However, the low sensitivity / range is a clear reason for a point deduction.
