I was looking for spice up a simple Soundbar to the sound of my TV's a little. Since my TV is on a TV cabinet and the foot of my 65 "TV's is quite large, unfortunately I have no place to place on the cabinet front of the television, the sound bar. So I had to choose a Soundabr with stands that I over the foot of my TV could provide. Unfortunately provides only Yamaha Sound Bar with feet. So much my choice on the YAS-201 or the Yas-one hundred and first But because I always said in all hi-fi forums and in various professional markets was "at a Sounbar must be a bass cabinet in it, or brings nothing," I have decided for the 201 and I can only say it was definitely the right decision , The sound, whether looking at the television or Blu-ray is, by far improved that I can not put into words. You can hear a sudden noise in a movie that you have never heard before. A real treat !!! I recommend anyone buying a Soundbar only warmly. And the Yamaha offers in my opinion and also often have read an excellent quality. As a tip I would advise anyone who put in the Blu-ray player and the TV settings to the sound output to "Bitstream" and not as set by default to let to "PCM". This again increases my feeling, the sound quality and volume of the bass!
