Simply compare

I have the Royal Cappucino convinced flawless in operation and am of the machine for 6 years. The comments of others I have read and can understand everything decidedly.

Purchasing criteria: reliability, durability and price - performance ratio.

Experiences: First, the purchase decision: bought on the Internet at a reduced warranty as demo with a small scratch. For 500, - however, a reason to buy for me. Box was in my view appropriate and sufficient information. Connected constructed set and for 6 years only one little problem (see below)
The machine had a commercial registration, for me a Verlässlichkeits the only one in its price range - when choosing.
Customer service: I would avoid at all times. There are better ways. Example: I live near Nagold and turn to the resident coffee - oasis. This little operation makes me fair prices for all maintenance and repairs, in case of emergency. This is however never happened.
I occupied myself with the decidedly Innnenleben. The main block is made of stainless steel, but the processing of the components around it rather gruesome, nothing for "normal hobbyist". The brewing group, to which it comes to yes, tinkers reliable and I in the 6 years only once a sealing set installed (cost: 4.79 euros). Here is very very important: coffee is a food and very greasy. This grease sets and collects in the brewing course depend. A brewing unit is easy to clean, but it needs to be expanded to be (in the new and more expensive Jura - models is the example not more). The brewing unit of SiC requires little care, but regularly. From my experience, is sufficient in normal household a little cleaning every 2 weeks, together with a review of the visible parts in the device itself. Time about 15 minutes for a flushing of the brewing unit with water and external cleaning and testing of functionality and cleansing program at the machine. 2 times a year, the brewing unit completely disassembled with me, cleaned in boiling water for about 20 minutes and silicone grease addition was reassembled (In Euro 4.79 this package) and checked for motility.
As mentioned, the part running smoothly ever since.
The only problem I had once with the drip tray. This was always dry and the water, unfortunately, always under the machine. Has a lot of nerve tasted, finding out whether that immmer water from the brewing unit is running down and passes through a small hole into the drip tray. This was with me for 3 months clogged with enstprechenden effects.

Conclusion: I can see the 1 - star reviews divided into the following points: 1) Overview display
2) drip tray always full 3) sentence container filling never reliable and always a little differently filled, sometimes half full, even overflowing, sometimes-quarters full with water (coffee grounds). 5) Cappucinatore is a measly plastic part and has to be cleaned constantly, which makes Jura much better !, 6) The official service is not anywhere locally implemented (alternative solutions so) 7) Too often annoys the chalk display.

I am nevertheless pleased with the part, after about 14,000 coffee's, but know that I (etc. heater, engine, transmission) will throw in the part due to the high cost of repairs in the garbage at major repairs.

ALTERNATIVES? - There is, in any case, but probably not in this price - segment!
