Skeptical ... surprised ... convinced!

Since I as toolmakers have worked with different welding equipment (TIG focus), I believe me a good idea of ​​the capabilities of this device to make. I learned the TIG welding on a Merkle welding machine, so upscale price range.

I was a bit skeptical whether you get for 200 at all a reasonable TIG SG and have held first for used equipment out.
Unfortunately also used brand devices were still very expensive. So I then so slammed here.

After three business days then the stand, very compact package at the door. When unpacking fell first the "welding shield" in the eye ... not the best first impression. The thing is, in my view, a complete waste of material. But I call an auto-darkening welding helmet, my own, so I do not mind the plastic shield on and does the overall positive impression not diminish.

After I had made the first welding tests with electrode welding (new to me), I was surprised how simple this is ... but also rather something for the "Rough" and for that I have my unit gained only secondarily.

So I connected the argon bottle and was looking forward to the TIG welding.
First, even the tungsten electrode grinding pointed.

What can I say ... the welding behavior is that of a more expensive device in every way! I am pleasantly surprised!

Of course you have to Ampere Digital display, foot switch or dererlei luxury refrain, but one must not forget that we are talking about a 200 unit!
The price / performance ratio is here clearly the 5 star value. From me gibts ne strong buy recommendation.
