slower autofocus, short battery life and slow burst rate and still the best "compact camera" in my eyes

Let's make no mistake about it, the DP2 Merrill is slow, the auto focus as well and yet it is the best compact Amera I've ever had. The reason for this is likely the Foveon sensor be, the sharp detail of the images is just incredible, even my DSLR does not ran since. So in my view, a strong buy recommendation for people who expect a super image quality and dispense with a long battery life, fast AF and a high burst rate can. Bin will almost certainly follow me soon nor DP1M for landscapes and architecture.

My conclusion 5 star for people who know what they want and in between definitely not suitable for clippers!
