Here are some details:
Appearance: It is not a glossy glossy white, but it is a ridged, dull surface. I find the notebook looks great! Does not have to be black (at the time of my purchase of stock). The notebook is really small, it fits in every backpack and I was surprised how easy it is. The screen size, I personally find in order.
Processing: In principle, the notebook looks robust, only the keyboard I'm not sure if the last forever or not but get out falls a button. That remains to be seen, so far everything is going well. The key with the T is slightly raised with me, therefore incorporated not quite perfect, but I can still tap well, is more of a beauty than a malfunction. For me was not worth the trouble of an exchange.
Furnishings: really very simple! Turning, a few clicks to finish. If there is a Wi-Fi network, you have to enter the password. For me it is the first acquaintance with Windows 8, well, that's just getting used to, but not a disaster. Much, much advertising it, apps that want to make an ultimately only payer offers tasty. I would recommend it only once to connect to the Internet and to muddle a little, then run all the updates and then you can use it sensibly.
Operating System: As I said, Windows 8, I want to say just a couple of points that I noticed: Since I use the laptop for writing, I had hoped to enter the license key of my Microsoft Office package in 2010 (I have for multiple licenses). But nothing there that you must have Office 2013! There is a free version of the Office suite, which can be used for some time, and the like so much can be extended to Windows 8 with a cash paid version. I have not done. Because it's just only a travel notebook, I content myself with the free, pre-installed WordPad.
The pre-installed McAfee antivirus trial I rausgworfen because the mine is too independent and makes the internet slow. I took the free version of AVG, with whom I have had good experiences.
Operation: I think the keyboard is easy to grip and the stop good, you can reasonably write. The keyboard is not too small. Only the touch pad is sometimes a bit annoying, you get the arrow is not always to pack really, when it comes, it is better to connect a mouse. The touchpad on my laptop larger is much better here, the low price of the netbook makes then but noticeable.
Quality: The picture I think basically good, but if you looked at video, you could tell that it is not necessarily sharp. The sound is pretty creepy, very tinny, very quiet. I mean, it's ok, you can already watch movies and listen to music sometimes, but voluminous sound worlds one may not expect.
The working speed, I would sometimes describe as mediocre, my larger laptop is much faster, this one is ok, but sometimes you have to wait but a little on the small ones. Internet goes but overall quite good, only downloads you realize yet that it takes a long time.
The battery lasts five hours seems to actually be so, the display with percentage and remaining time makes me a reliable impression. If you stored just off the device, it naturally consumes no battery.
A drive for CDs / DVDs has not the notebook, but there is already for 20-30 euros external drives, I bought one. The Windows Media Player, however, is no DVDs again, I highly recommend this free VLC Media Player downloading, so that it goes smoothly.
Conclusion: I am very satisfied, the price-performance ratio is right and for occasional use, I can recommend the netbook without restriction!
