Given the very critical review of my Vorschreibers that I read only after the purchase, I was skeptical at first, what to expect. In particular, I asked myself, as in general the hot-cold regulation is designed with only one controller. Normally it takes two yes mechanisms: a regulation for the water current and to regulate the temperature.
Assembly:
==========
Installation, mind you after consuming removal of the old rooster, was relatively simple. All necessary materials (. Exckl tool) amounted to: The two necessary metal hoses, two sealing rings, the practical, two-piece fastening set. A need for me extension hose I had the old faucet.
But then a problem: The firmly welded to the valve outlets for the cold and hot water tube were welded angle and prevented a fit of the fastening thread. I thought of a bad design, but then realized that they fortunately did bend it a little himself. Thus I was able to solve the problem.
The tightening of the fitting works because of the practical device then very simple and even without tools. For screwing the hoses but requires two open-end wrench to the correct greetings (in my case, 19er and 17er).
Fitting in operation:
================
The device looks visually presentable. It is actually quite large, but also works by high-quality and stylish. Although our sink is made of normal-thick metal (ie rather thin), the valve moves only slightly during rotation - so they can not be described as unstable (as it observes the other review).
I like the control principle very well: With the sole regulator to adjust both the strength and the water temperature. A small rotation sufficient to activate the water flow. The LED lights up blue. Turning a little further, so the beam is a little stronger and the LED turns green, the water is lukewarm. Turning the knob to the end, so the water is very hot and the LEDs light up red. A practical principle.
The regulator is not particularly stiff in my opinion, and can be used well. The look is understated by the regulator very simple and chic.
Criticism:
======
The necessity of bending the hose connections not like it particularly - and I also had once come. Visually, it did not look as if they could be bend easily. In addition, one would like not break anything, because then possibly void the warranty. But this is an isolated incident problem if necessary.
The nozzle on the faucet causes together with the inclination of the valve that the jet of water on the sink a little splashes upon impact. Surely this also depends on the particular nature, but it bothers me a little.
At very low intensity of the water jet (if so only very slightly turning up), the blue LEDs are not illuminated. You obviously need a higher throughput. This too is a minor nuisance for me.
The regulation between lukewarm and hot is a little difficult and getting used to.
Conclusion:
======
I am happy. Quite a looker and as a fun gimmick in our kitchen. Especially in the evening when it gets dark and the kitchen is outside is poorly lit, the temperature-dependent lighting effects a stylish atmosphere. 90 I would not spend it - for less absolutely fine.
