The package includes in addition to the charging station even four brushes, a travel box and a storage box for unused attachments. This accommodates four brushes. Of the four supplied brushes are three normal models, one of which is a very small version, which is probably intended for the interdental spaces, but is not mentioned in the manual. A great pity, I find that only the small brush has a colored ring. The other three brushes are absolutely identical. Thus, if in a family all the brushes in use, the chaos is inevitable. That's a shame because Oral B had actually here many years ago a very nice solution with interchangeable colored rings that you could place it on the brush down.
Commissioning is not a big problem. The display, the so-called "Smart Guide" is the same with the battery inserted therefore, easy to adjust to the current time and is then ready for use. The toothbrush must be back-charged contrast. The initial charge took me more than a day! The second charge was also not vonstatten much faster. In times when load smartphones and laptops in four to six hours, which seems almost old-fashioned. It is not a modern lithium-ion battery for use but a NiMH battery.
In operation, the brush makes a good figure. It communicates wirelessly with the SmartGuide, and once you start the toothbrush, this shows a timer on and the quadrants, which you should just brush. A laughing smiley also appear and when you press down too hard while brushing warns the SmartGuide with a "Caution" symbol, the toothbrush reduced their speed and the Smiley is a laughing at a sad. In addition, a large red LED on the toothbrush itself warns. Also the selected cleaning program can be read on the SmartGuide. The toothbrush speaks five programs that go beyond cleaning and brightening up for gum massage. Even if I find that the SmartGuide is a gimmick, so he has a very positive effect: The ad, which jaw quadrant should be just cleaned, spread to his cleaning efforts more evenly and the timer helps actually 30 seconds each edit quadrant. Should we change the quadrant, the toothbrush stops briefly and the SmartGuide beeps. Fortunately, the beeping is indeed audible but not obtrusive. When traveling, you can also operate the toothbrush entirely without SmartGuide.
Overall, I really like the Oral B Trizone with SmartGuide. Somehow you brush by the SmartGuide but a little more disciplined. A stopwatch would have a similar effect, but for a technology-savvy people makes such a wirelessly connected to the SmartGuide toothbrush but a lot more fun. The only really big complaint is the battery. Once loaded, it holds through with one person over a week, but the long charging time I find simply no longer appropriate. Just when you do not want to be permanent at the current the charger, or can not because of this unfavorable situated outlets, the long loading time can be a nuisance.
Thus, there is a star deduction for the old battery technology. Otherwise, there is nothing to complain about and it really good stay four out of five stars.
