The adapter (incl. All other parts) is well made and works properly when using the device correctly.
From experience, I use this adapter as follows:
Connecting the adapter to the drive, creating power to the hard drive and then plug in the USB port on your computer, because the disk otherwise often can not be detected.

For the reasonable price, the flawless functionality and the delivery (incl. Power supply), this product deserves 5 stars.
Only the shipping was not satisfactory (no fault of the seller!).
It came by mail in a padded envelope air, but lasted 3 days upon delivery to this envelope was there, and then the postman has him also simply placed in front of the door, where everyone could easily have him take in.
