Purpose
=======================
A shaky video recording I got the taste to try to stabilize my video recordings through technical support. This product is noticed by the apparent favorable price / performance ratio and had by its compact design and the charm, go to be there in order to make smooth video recordings can.
Unpacking
=======================
The product is supplied with the following components:
- CD
- Tripod
- Bag
- On the stand already mounted weights
Contrary to the product image, the handle has been delivered in my variant in blue - a shame, I was looking forward to a completely black device.
Product condition
=======================
The product looks solid and moves smoothly. At the joints, the device looks a bit oily / greasy and "slippery". The construction works stable. The handle is made of a thicker rubber top which can be easily grasped by grüßere hands. The rubber is designed to prevent the hand from slipping.
Product Application
=======================
A Canon EOS 650D with 10-24mm lens could be adjusted only consuming, so the camera as you desire react slowly to changes in motion and thereby the soft motion comes about. I had in the first tests, the problem is that the camera rotates around its own axis to the left and right - an adjustment to the smoothness I could not make out. An adjustment to the mounted camera / lens was very difficult and was a painstaking task. Here the user has inclined to apply a lot of time required to balance
Product Review
=======================
What displeases me personally in the product is the smell of the handle which indicates creosote or PAHs - in tool chest at the hardware store learns that rubber parts that smell acrid after rubber or tar, are and softening on the skin just not the healthiest sweating - Rate. These plasticizers are suspected of altering genetic material and causing cancer.
An indication of Toni in the comments to this could be bypassed by a self-installed safety design in long-term use, however, is the question of whether then the anti-slip effect is still effective and whether the effort then justifies an additional investment in a higher quality product.
The test with the camera did not show that the tripod due to the weight of the camera and lens, unfortunately, is too hard to build a suitable counterweight to the tripod to hold the camera and sluggish. Thus, the product is unfortunately not come with me to use in films. From various YouTube videos (including [...] to the stand but can be seen that it works and Smoothly Recording allows.
