My overall impression after the first and second hearing: This is a third (fourth, fifth ...) time is one at a time; the guys from "Sunrise Avenue" can what! The music has a lot of drive, the whole album has no hangover, which is solid goods.
However - a genuine Abräumer contains "On the Way to Wonderland" unfortunately not. Some tracks stand out anyway: "Fairytale Gone Bad", of course - one of the most dynamic songs on the CD, which does not mean that the rest would Nightcap Music. But this story of a broken relationship is easily implemented perfectly. Also "Choose to Be Me" has what - backed melodic rock with typical punk rhythm; in places reminiscent of Green Day's. Is not this fun ... A good choice for the CD-opener!
Other Recommendations: "Heal Me" has a great deal of this certain sombre Something that differentiates Sunrise Avenue from the 08/15-mainstream. At the opposite pole has "Destiny", the idiosyncratic piece of CD - and certainly not the worst. Country influences I can here not hear, but skillful bonds during 60s sound à la Beach Boys thoroughly. That Sunrise Avenue still play rock music at all loose West Coast sound, enjoyment, far from diminishing ... somewhat weaker (but really only * slightly * less) is "Fight 'til Dying".
"Only" and "Into the Blue" in turn are beautiful moody ballads; especially "Into the Blue" is one of the highlights of the CD. Here Show Sunrise Avenue that they plan also the quiet tones. And that Samu Haber can sing, you have already noticed long ago.
A promising debut so that gives hope to many more good albums. If Sunrise Avenue down a little more rough edges, still be a little biting, then the CD title in the not too distant future could be program.
