My Cryo came without any dents or scratches, and was so sharp that I have cut right at the first time check blade. It came directly from the packaging sharp enough to shave off my hair on the arms. Unfortunately my Cryo has three tiny places where the coating is not perfect, but I can see over it at this price.
Now for the more relevant the knife points.
First the negatives:
1. It is small, very small even with his mere 7cm blade and a total length when unfolded just 16.5cm. So I did not expect, in the video to the blade it looked namely greater. This is a drawback because I'm right size hands (glove size XL) and the grip is thus a bit short for me, my little finger will not fit really with off for me.
2. The Daumenpins are completely useless, one war the knife neither particularly good nor on it, could have been omitted.
3. It is all metal that was previously though aware of the disadvantages you should keep in mind anyway, that would be because, poor grip and at low temperatures to hold a block of ice in hand.
4. Due to the unusual screws, Torx smaller than size 10, I must first buy some new tools, since I have no Torx in this size, but the clip and would like to transpose me. Here Kershaw would like to ask for more and for 1-2 enclose the right tools.
5. Legal difficult for his size, 117g. The Spyderco is to my knowledge still larger and weighs the same amount or even a few grams less. Who pays attention to the weight better options than this knife.
For the better:
1. Very good steel for the price. The blade is easy to sharpen well and stay sharp. Better than any 420 or 440 stainless steel.
2. Solid locking system, the blade wobbles when unfolded not a piece and feels so hard that you almost think you could be there draufstellen.
3. Excellent Flipper, the blade pops out with just a little pressure and close really every time without any problems.
4. Consistently absolutely solid construction. This knife is a tool that can withstand a lot. Thanks to adjustable screws can be if something triggers repeatedly tightening.
5. very modular. The clip can be offset for both right and left-handed and carry tip-up and tip-down is possible.
These were only the points that come to mind now, certainly there's more pros and cons.
My conclusion: The ultimate EDC is this knife is certainly not. Like any other, it has its strengths and weaknesses. However, for the price it's consistently a great knife, which can be very useful especially as an everyday knife, and then where it is not toooo sad should it go nevertheless times broken. For people with small to medium sized hands it can certainly hold good for my hands, it is a bit small. But I do not regret trying to buy and it now has a permanent place in my pocket where it hinpasst very good. The search for my personal "Ultimate EDC Knife" but goes on.
