As a complement to the other reviews:
Internal hard drives must be initialized, partitioned and formatted as a rule. This eliminates most complete solutions.

To e-SATA:
When retrofitting an external S-ATA port this may need to be enabled in the BIOS so that the hard disk is recognized. In S-ATA controllers without AHCI (Advanced Host Controller Interface) no hot work plugging. This means that the plate must be turned on at boot, otherwise it is not recognized automatically.

One star deduction, because the 2-line manual determined not help a layman since.
