Somehow different .... or is it !?

How much stamina can muster a fan and how evil can be a band, to have to wait so long with a follow-up album to be.
10 years since Jilted Generation and 7 years after Fat of the Land pasiert what many have not thought possible: The Prodigy volition again know.
During the first hearing of the new album is initially striking first, that it has remained largely true to the usual style. Fat grooves, hard beats and dirty vocals backed by nothing but small Soundtüftelleien.
The first track, "Spitfire" then sounds the same time as a mix of "Breathe" and other elements of the third album Fat of the Land. This raises not only the nostalgics in the fan, but also causes immediate nervous twitching of the limbs and head nodding.
The following songs are settling between experimentally ala album No.1 "Experience", with playful touches like the old days when "Music for the Jilted Generation" and sounds nonetheless familiar to "Fat of the Land".
Not much new, then, but do not störts.
Songs like "Spitfire", "Hotride" or "Wake Up Call" tear easily with too much to be angry about the lack of advancement.
That to me is then the only point of criticism: Were the cracks with regard to the differences between the previous albums in some cases significantly noticeably, sounds Aono me in some places simply too much for a remixed "Fat of teh country".
For outstanding services on dancing people there but good 4 star.
