A high-quality stainless steel version would have been more stable and valent, but really for the price you can not expect. For this device costs significantly less than any Senseo machine! Nevertheless, it makes just as much and even more. I find that remarkable. Nevertheless, the price difference is noticeable also in the processing. What looks in the photos for a noble black colored casing is a simple black plastic case in reality. It always reminds me of my cheap Rossmann-kettle. Conveniently, but functional and a workhorse. So this coffee pad machine. In addition to coffee / espresso / tea can now also be finished latte with fresh milk. I think that's great, because I find the taste the finished bags just super sweet and artificially with milk powder. The coffee pad holder is also handy. It has two sides. One is small and the other for large pads. There is also an essay, the processed powder or coffee 'espresso. So it is flexible if you want to buy not always expensive pads. For office use, the pad is of course a clean business. The milk-foaming is also very useful, although I again later upgrade the hot milk with an electric milk frother-. So the milk foam is denser and firmer. The amount of water for the coffee can be adjusted as desired by controller. Important for allergic persons: The Philips Senseo machines produced during the brewing process increased nickel values! These are above the prescribed maximum levels for drinking water! The Petra coffee pod machine is well below these values and therefore also a "good" Stiftung Warentest magazine in. Whether other PAD systems have similar problems, provided no indication unfortunately from the booklet.
Conclusion: The price / performance ratio, this machine! I'm excited. It does not always have the great look of Senseo be when the power convinced!
