Benefits:
- Keeping stable and comfortable grip on my Canon 7D with a large video light on the shoe is very well kept
- The lower screw has an internal thread, so you can still screw it a removable disk in order to provide the whole system on a tripod.
Disadvantages:
- The upper shoe aging is screwed together wrong, so that a small screw something tall above. This means that you can not push it. Already funny, one the product has indeed bought the only reason. I urgently needed the part, I have bent the upper bracket with violence so apart that my Rode VideoMic could be inserted and firmed. The shoe is on the other hand left very well.
- The lower screw can not really fix it, which is quite annoying when you have to follow constantly. But, as I said, I am doing a very heavy device it with a Manfrotto change Plate under the system.
