There is no comparable sharpness and low noise to ISO25.000 (at a pinch even over it). I would not have thought possible which leap from the D700 (which have a light giant) to A7s is possible. The images eg random Feuerwehreinsatz vis a vis of the gallery Ostlicht are of incredible sharpness and freedom from noise. One dares without worry with 1/100 or faster, and even an aperture of 5-8 at night to photograph and adjusts the ISO on Auto. Can come out what you can pull with little (no) processing on 60/90 cm without noticing anything. Portaits at parties - spontaneously and with movement of people - go without a flash with 1/200 and even the 5.6 aperture and are incredibly detailed and noise.
1.) Disadvantage: This thing eats up electricity - because each NIKON is far better - without the auxiliary handle and a couple of batteries is the case one does not sit through a day.
2.) Disadvantage: Make important points are hidden deep in the menu, takes time and is a bit hidden, unlike the NEX.
3.) Disadvantage: There are too few lenses - that's a fact. The 55mm FE ZA is really good, but only a 55 mm. When Tele Macro makes 100m from Zeiss fun as it is not so extremely thick. But factually remains the deficiency in the lenses are made. With the Novoflex adapters can M lenses (cave Wide) but also attach Zeiss F fixed focal length without problems. Since the AF eh plays no role in these lenses - it does not matter even at a A7s. The Fun "A7s a Otus" is certainly available. It is the weight advantage though lost, but the images are not really bad. Always under the condition: "bad light".
Other:
The most staying for professional photographers in a studio and where lack of light does not prepare so worried like this design appear as a backward step - to see the introduction.
The described effect of "bleeding" or blooming in blue light can not be seen in RAW photos - I have tried to effect the films (I understand very little of - and use the camera not to) provoke. But when the fire fighting with lots of blue light and high ISO was nothing to see. May be due to my ignorance .....
Total - Anyone looking for a lightweight, low noise and small camera that will come very well with low light conditions, while a reasonably good AF has (which is in a position with the low light also good deal) and a 35 and 55 mm AF lens currently rich (or can live with adapters) will not pass by this model.
