The difference with the small compact digital cameras is more than visible. And contrary to the statements of self-styled "experts" the series lens 18/70 is indeed very suitable for starters. Because when I add a claims professional photographer, then I'll buy a camera with no lens for 500-550 euros, but investing loose 2000 - 3000 Euro for the camera (only "body" without anything on it!) And then again a multiple thereof in fast lenses!
After I read all the reviews in German and English Internet and have also compared with the Canon 450 was clearly the decision after visiting Saturn and testing of both cameras: Sony A 350th
Advantages of Sony over the Canon D450:
- If you switch from basic to-use compact digital cameras has an easier with the Sony. The menu is better and, moreover, some of the program points can be adjusted more quickly directly on the camera. On the other hand you have to work three times through the menu to change some basic settings at the Canon EOS D450.
- Sony has a fold-out display and you can take pictures without the bottom rumzukriechen (macro) or even overhead photograph (it did not work at the Canon).
- At the Sony is the image stabilization in the housing - and not as in the Canon lens in. In other words, no matter what kind of lens you later on the Sony screwed it - the image is protected against the effects of vibration. When Canon brauchts there already a corresponding lens.
- The pictures (and that is what even now at times) are just awesome from the quality - because the Canon should be but just as good. In some forums will be reported at the Sony of slightly more noise at high ISO values (but who photographed mainly at night?), The Canon contrast to überberlichten (and the not so rare).
Who wants to save absolutely still 50-80 euros without sacrificing image quality, the Sony Alpha 300 and the Canon EOS 1000D should look at - that make just as good pictures - but have a slightly scaled-down features in comparison to the two above mentioned cameras.
When Sony can also be inexpensive to first rising Konica / Minolta lenses use (Sony Konica / Minolta has bought a few years ago and still uses the same bayonet mount) - Canon the corresponding Canon lenses (of which there are plenty) ,
All in all, Sony is easier to use and for amateurs, beginners in digital photography as well as upgrading from compact digicams just right, only to have fun, without 300 pages of a handbook by having read (and completely understood!).
May my contribution will help all those who are looking for a relatively inexpensive entry-level camera in the digital SLR photography and just as I between Sony and Canon fluctuating (t) s!
