Jaroussky's voice is special - it has soul. For this reason alone I would buy any of his recordings. The album is still pending for some other reason in particular: Here Jaroussky is the first time as an ensemble conductor. Very interesting, as he shaped differently about the "Longe mala" as z. B. Fasolis. The catchiest pieces are well said "Longe mala" and the very famous "Stabat Mater." However, the album is worth it for the other, less well-known pieces. As with the Farinelli / Porpora album dares Jaroussky, very un-vain, to focus not only on a single-Best-Of and popular songs. A soulful, very personal album. The sound is gorgeous - a big compliment to the sound engineer.
