have since Christmas the RAIKKO POCKET Beat in use and have some problems with the device. Among the benefits I can say that the sound and the design are very good. I myself have the device in red to match my red Dell Vostro. Looks nice and the sound is compared to the laptop, not much louder but full.
Among the drawbacks, I find that the mini-USB plug can be poorly connected to the device. I have even after 2 months still turn the lights on and try several times until the plug fits into it. Comparatively, it is all I know of smartphones, or other equipment much easier. The control is with the 4 buttons at the top is not particularly user-friendly. One should hold the buttons to adjust the volume to reduce but how many levels are there, I have not found out (estimated 3-5). If the volume is changed then it goes so fast that fine-tuning needed exercises. The supplied cables are quite short what with my Dell Vostro leads that when I want to connect both charging cable and the sound jack the box must stand behind the screen.
Another downer is the battery performance but the beginning itself proceeded in the framework announced then quickly took off and already after 6 weeks does not work without an external power source. Unfortunately. The Bluetooth connection is quick and easy but it came (past because it no longer goes without external power source) at my noise when I was away longer as 2 meters from the connected device. At 5 meters and a wooden door as a separation has in my opinion alas no joy with the device. Also the latch rotate the device leads to Click / noise.
Summa sumarum the device is not bad but also not very mature. I'll try a replacement device with a working battery to get and give the RAIKKO POCKET Beat one more chance.
Greetings
