Sound extremely dependent on the fit

Bose "in-ears", are actually no real in-ears because it is more likely to open handset with a rubber cap of slightly touches the ear, and so also does not cause any unpleasant feelings or effects in the ear. I have all 3 versions of the Bose "in-ear" belongs. Both the active QC20 and the normal IE2 and finally SIE2. Interestingly, all have sounded overly using the supplied articles. I have tried all sizes, but in none of them I would spend only 20 Euro for the headphones with the given sound, let 120! The volume was modest, no trace of bass, the sound has changed over and over again, depending on how I have adjusted. Only when the Bose employee has unearthed an alternative article "StayHear +", the parts were suddenly twice as loud, somehow sounding no longer confined to the middle and getting closer to what I imagine under "sound". The StayHear + essays have so they finish better at the end of yet an additional funnel, like the towers of normal In Ears by ear.
With this essay, I then tried all the listeners, have said the worst sounded in my opinion the QC20, with an extremely repossessed height range which at that very resonant sound. The active shielding was of course impressive, but also sounded very used to, as you would create a vacuum in the ear. The IE2 was sonically better, with better midrange, but still not satisfactory. Only the SIE2 sounded interestingly, significantly more sophisticated than the other two, although I would have hardly believed no distinction for wahrcheinlich identical IE2.
I have therefore decided to use the SIE2 and have the optional attachments to get.

With the StayHear + essays a lengthy adjustment is virtually unnecessary, are employed on the handset, and then it fits, the sound is full. Unfortunately, too full, the sound is at least extremely bass accented with these essays. I have also tried again at home all sizes normal StayHear essays and none had rudimentary sealing the StayHear + attachments, so that the sound could unfold. Sound is faint with the normal essays, in the heights partly unnatural, I can turn the essays and purely presses as I want, it just does not fit.

You know exactly when normal in-ears, when the optimal fit is achieved, you can never tell when the SIE2, since it is believed the sound would fit now, but suppressed it they even stronger in his ear, one can still something more rauskitzeln on bass.
If someone complained that the SIE2 were bassarm, should not miss to taste the StayHear + attachments, because with these mutate the listener to subwoofers, which then of course the whole rest of the frequency range will be the loser. I have been experimenting with the StayHear + attachments long, and found that they have sounded better if they have been unscrewed subsequently a little out of the ear. The sound was partly also better if you used the "less bass" Preset. In normal articles, however, I found never really optimal support when I have completely pushed in his ear so that they have almost as StayHear + essays completely sealed, the sound was bass emphasized, but they slipped after a short time still back out, so that the centers predominated, and the bass was too much pushed into the background. An intermediate would probably sound exactly right, but I do not get either the bass dominates, especially in the special articles or missing too much.

Maybe others have better luck, but it annoys me too much if the sound is constantly changing, depending on how much I purely press the essays. The problem would disappear with the StayHear + essays, but in this, the sound is dull and wummig, so you get no sound balance here. He is really reasonable if necessary only with appropriate EQ processing.

I have my experiments not given in any case and have a pinch even tried the StayHear + essays trim a bit, but that's not the point of it, and really improved it has sound not he was definitely too dull and bass emphasized. Normal In-Ears are in the end but then easier to handle, because you know immediately (listening) whether it likes it or not, and slipped the listener time, is also the perfect sound to go because there is then no a little more bass, less bass as here at Bose. But I have tried a trial basis once the standard silicone essays of a cheap in-ear on the Bose, though the diameter is different, the essay fits it, although has not a perfect fit, but also slips not by itself down again. What has me totally surprised that this paper was with the sound of the best and most balanced by far. The heights were suddenly brilliant, the bass were clear but not so dominant as in StayHear + essay, the only stop in the ear was worse. Although I usually need the tradition of the M-size, has most sounded the smallest size in the case of SIE2, some experimentation when inserting assuming I was able to achieve the best results by far. If they were too strong in the ear, the bass was a bit too strong, but still not as strong as in other sizes or on the StayHear + essays that listeners were not perfect in the ear, the bass took turn sharply, but after some time in-out I had it out soon as I have to use, so it really fits.

For that reason, it is also hard to describe the sound of SIE2 for me final, since I simply do not know how he was meant by Bose. Either a lot of bass or little bass, the treble and midrange changes according greatly depending on how the articles are just sitting in the ear. I think if you really achieved the ideal fit (in my case a bit unusual with manufacturers foreign papers where I was able to achieve a balance somewhere between completely bassy and completely bassarm), the sound is definitely pleasant, not too flashy, not too dull , which I'm not sure if the high price it is really worth and if you do not get a better sound out of ordinary in-ears to less.
