I just wanted to have a reasonable home headphones and therefore I have magazines and forums rolled. From a German spring it should be (one may say that at the time at all, with what currently on the roads going to Hab has however nothing at all to do. Always liked German products preferred is also not objectionable).
Ok, as I have read, the Sennheiser in Ireland made but comes at least here. A Beyerdynamic T90 I have also tried, as well as the Beyerdynamic Pro770. The 770 I have some time, but never heard much about it, was for home studio use. Still rare for "normal" listening to music in use.
The HD 650 arrived before BT90 and I was immediately impressed by the sound. Warm, detail and compared with the 770 miles to the neutral. This is meant positively. It's often the word analytical reading of this KH, which is true. I had just a good feeling when HD 650. Nevertheless, one wants to yes for that price even have a comparison. Then came the BT90. What struck directly, he is tuned much brighter. This one gets with more subtleties. But that may be beautiful or ugly. I found that at the beginning quite unnatural, but with time you can make friends with it. What has these headphones definitely, is the bigger stage. Degree at live concerts is this quality to bear. That's impressive. But if someone starts singing it is critical. The S-sounds are not acceptable for me. Clearly, it depends on the quality of the recording, but this much bad shots I can not have, the more it sounds bad. A relaxed listening is impossible. I would also like to hear a bit louder and then you can deduct only the headphones. And I'm talking with volume not of 11+, but by 6-7. He is simply not to use "my" music for.
The 770 falls against these two from very far. Bass too strong, bathtub to inflated.
Comfort are great at both. Although I find the more enjoyable Sennheiser (bit more pressure), even suppressed at all in my big head.
For classical music the BT90 is determined the better, but so ....
I'll try determined yet one or the other headphones, but which then develops an addiction, always searching for the perfect sound, this one has been the best at home.
The final word should also mean then: perfect the HD 650 is not yet, but comes close in my music off.

As before, I am fully satisfied with the HD 650. But on further research the Shure H840 tried (ok, not a German brand). Basically my headphones was supposed to be open, but anyway, this is closed, but very good. At various shots he brings more scar in the matter. Will hot. He is very direct. Spatiality, depth is not really there (HD 650 significantly better / everything left, right, center), but it brings in some more shots with playfulness, while the HD 650 yet remains balanced. The bass is probably increased a bit, but human. Above all, are vocal (collectively, the middle) similar to the HD650. No annoying, unpleasant sibilance. Very suitable for pop music. I keep well. In addition it costs almost half the HD650.
I feel good tip.
