With "We Are The Night" prove the Chemical Brothers, that they continue to be among the big sound tinkerers. Who expects dancefloor filler for open discos, is here thankfully disappointed. Most of the tracks have in common is that noise and soundscapes build up to insane and drifting mountains without getting into smug Electrogefrickel losing. Challenging but catchy, incredibly varied and never boring. In this respect, just fit perceived outliers like "Salmon Dance" or "Harpoons" just purely in the chemical concept, which I rather "All rights reversed" and "Battle Scars" count among my favorites. With "Do it aigain" show Rowlands and Simons also how it in the dance charts creates without his losing of coolness but that they could always have been.
With each listen you discover new harmonies, nodding his head or even funny nonsense. This disk excited me like the predecessor "Push the button." For five star still not quite Richts. Only almost perfect.
