Today is indeed often talked about that Hip Hop is so diverse in Germany, than ever before. In principle, I agree with that. However, I also get the impression that most of the artists are perceived really have the media primarily by a certain image that success. Either it goes in the Strassenrap direction, or in the hipster hop direction or there must be a certain story around it exist before the actual product is sold. Rapper to have just to say something, have a story to tell and convince especially by Skillz and not through a constructed image is still far from the public viewing. The Inflabluntahz are a group that are going in this direction. Franksta is for me one of the best rappers in Germany. Technically he is far ahead, but especially his texts are characterized by content and themes. He is not someone who incensed himself. The beats accompany his lyrics with a dark and melancholic sound. Of this kind Rap I personally can not get enough and I can only hope that in spite of advancement in Rap seem such panels repeatedly.
