Before Marantz a network receiver from Sony sonicated our living room, and in front of the Marantz I really thought this would be the last word technique. Not even close! The Marantz beats the Sony by far. It begins in the operation. This was strangely awkward at Sony, and the initialization of the internet radio took Felt ages - if it worked at all. Increasingly, it turned out the same for months. Sony pushed the on vTuner, transparent explanations did not exist. Well, enough annoyed. The Sony we banished to the kitchen, and there they will remain until they give up their minds. The Marantz contrast, is really fun. Each source can be called directly, switching occurs quickly, Internet Radio is available even without network standby, in a few seconds, and disconnections are now history. Operation is virtually self-explanatory, wonderfully structured simple and logical, as there are times nothing to complain about. The sound can be individually adjusted, there is a Dynamic Bass Boost, which can be switched on for lovers powerful bass, the balance can also be set (again weakened the Sony). Connectors are plentiful, the extra USB connector on the back is fine suited to connect a hard drive with the personal music collection permanently. There are two RCA inputs and even an exit - exemplary! In addition, there is an optical input for the TV, what more could you want? The OLED display is the best thing I've ever seen, razor sharp with a liquid display and well readable up to a distance of about four meters. The sound can also convince. We have the Marantz a pair magnate Surpreme indulged 200 and are now spoiled with rich, warm yet detailed sounds. It's again a real pleasure to listen to music. The remote control is not overloaded and also virtually self-explanatory. To manage all functions of the Marantz, you however need (at least we) take a look at the detailed operating instructions. Although this is only on a CD, but very well designed and equipped with search function. The Quick Start Guide is available in hard copy. Since the Marantz but practically settles after the first turning on itself, we did not need. There are 50 favorite memory, which is more than adequate. How to move to preset stations, we have not figured out, but if necessary you simply deletes one and occupied the vacant place new. The only criticism that comes to us, is the plastic housing in piano finish. A plant of this quality would have been better to metal face and would probably be asking too much for a price to 600 euros. But that's ultimately really just whining at a high level. Finally, it depends on the inner values. And the sum to an A +.
