For sound, I have not much to say, perhaps a tad more muffled on the mobile version, but it remains in good or very good in this price range. To give an example, I have a "home theater" Samsung, just a bit cheaper whose sound seems to me more poor.
The system connects to the network, either via wifi or ethernet (this is not true for the portable version, which works only wireless). I have not encountered major difficulties to install.
With soundtouch can use UPnP function or airplay fairly standard now to broadcast streaming music directly from phones or tablets. On this point, do not worry.
It is also possible to connect the system to either Spotify or Deezer to, which then become musical sources. You obviously have a subscription to enjoy (for deezer, one can enjoy a complimentary month, and a year at half price).
Finally, one can connect a PC or NAS system so as to make it a source. For the PC, it works pretty well. We need the music library is managed by windows media player or itunes, and secondly, to run a small specific program. This is almost perfect, with the distinction that it does not work in multi user. If the music library on my bank account, it only works if I'm the one that is connected to the PC. This is unfortunate, because others might also be able to enjoy. Perhaps there you it has room for improvement, using public shares, but I'm not sure. And secondly, it's not very well explained.
For the NAS, I try to connect it to the Freebox, but it does not. According to Bose, only NAS pandora and synology work. It seems that Bose's intention to extend the support to other NAS in the future ... This is unfortunate because having a NAS on which you can store all his music and broadcast via SoundTouch, c ' is really very convenient. This is really the main shortcoming of this device.
Otherwise, we may regret some flaws. For example, on how the lists are displayed in the app that allows you to control the set (by night artists or albums by name - but not mixed). Or, on the display of only the track on the soundtouch itself (and not the artist, not the album - except just launched, let alone the album cover). This remains anecdotal compared to the difficulty of establishing a music storage on NAS.
