First of all, I was surprised when the box arrived from AMAZON. As always, good packaged goods in their original box and the hand shower again well protected in foam bag. But is there really a hand shower of 16cm diameter in it?
It is, however, because these hand-held shower is not made of solid chrome like most others, but from a slightly Kuststoff with perfect and high-gloss chrome finish. Like almost all handheld showerheads nowadays has the Power & Soul hand shower over a plurality of discrete silicon-water jets that must be just übergewischt from time to time to remove any limescale. The surface can be cleaned very easily and when dry with a soft dry cloth left no residue on the surface. So much for "Spaceship Orion-like" noble design that the -reddot Design Award- 2011/2012 was a jury probably worth. But from me there for ever 5 star.
Installation is simple with a hand shower. Please take this no tool, but rotate the hand shower to the hose just hand firmly. This is efficient enough and is also completely sealed due to the sealing technology today!
Since I already have a few showers "by", the Power & Soul was mounted without the built-in water filter / flow regulator. Because power needs pressure. Specifically water pressure. 3.5 bar to 4 bar should also have, otherwise also search the massage jet (here -active massage spray / jet spray - called) in vain.
Again, a novelty and individual position: the hand shower offers the adjustability of 4 jets do not use a controller to lower as usual, but by gutgängige pushbuttons at the top. The can also be good with - foam in the eyes - practically feel for flying blind. The individual spray patterns are very well illustrated in the Amazon product description and actually speak for themselves. However, be prepared by virtually half switch, also spray patterns mix. Firstly, there is the now classic -Rain spray. A light-tight summer rain that wets well and extensively. The increase then the -GROHE Rain O2 spray. But then again its own homemade GROHE increase: the -Active Massage spray. An equally dense pulsating massage spray the cyclically between dense and wide changes / pulsates. But still soft, not firm and pungent as with other known to me massage spotlights. This beam is thus suitable not only for the gentle pulsating massage, but also very good for longer hair to foam rinse. Very well suited for terminating Kneipp. Then finally once again the classic Massagstrahl - Jet spray. But even this in a gentle form (tested at 4bar house water pressure!).
Well, and then mix times diligently, because as described all can be combined by the "half push way".
Conclusion: a fantastic lightweight, ergonomically very well thought out hand shower also ingenious 4-8fachem beam concept. Only at first glance irritated the proud price in the upper price segment of the handheld showerheads.
But I'm sure that a few years as power t which is so well designed. From me anyway full 5 stars. Here I can bedenkenklos speak of "Shower Fun"!
