I found what had charmed me so much in the previous volume. Here we have a mature book, successful and scholar who tells us a fantastic story building on the alchemists and dramaturgical knowledge. Matthew and Diana leave the 16th century to escape their pursuers and try to find answers to their present and their future alongside the members of the School of the night and unravel the mysteries of Ashmole 782. Many events will mark the route of our couple and the final - as in the previous book - we left a sense of unfinished and so many questions to be answered.
