Springsteen High Hopes ...

20 months after the acclaimed Wrecking Ball published the Boss with High Hopes Album Nr. 19 Who a direct successor expected here will be disappointed from the outset. Bruce Springsteen has here drawn from a wealth of unpublished material, covers and songs from his repertoire live. And so, in his own words, the music released that had always deserved to come on a plate.

As a creative booster acted of Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello. He held in March 2012 guitarist Steven Van Zandt on the Wrecking Ball Tour as Springsteen and the E-Street Band in Australia were on their way. Granted, some songs need more time than others. What the disc but so special is the mix of soul, gospel, Irish folk and blues elements. Whether it's rock songs or ballads now somehow you will with every song reminds us of another album, whether it is the Seeger Sessions, Devils & Dust or Nebraska is now.
