Stable butter dish with small drawbacks!

This butter dish we purchased to replace an (even more expensive) transparent plastic butter dish:
The overall picture is good, it is stable, well made and visually really suitable therefore an eye-catcher, even on Sunday visit! Any commercially available type of butter fit in well.

Who is going to look, that is the right place!

However, a few small caveats need to be mentioned:
- Excessive material thickness, though presentable, but too heavy and rather unwieldy
- Material and form result in a rather small feel, plus the high weight slips the can frequently out of his hand (at this weight may possibly even shatter tiles!)
- The lid is not completely fixed, but rather is mounted to slide, but that does not bother!

All in all:
Buy recommendation! In particular, for almost 10!
