Paving:
Installation is "child's play" and if you follow the instructions, then everything works right away. Besides this adapter no "foreign RadioAdapter of Peugeot" is used because all lines are wired, as it requires the JVC KD-R90BTE. On the contrary, this "foreign radio adapter by Peugeot" is installed, then the bus line is decoupled. That may be convenient and necessary if the JVC will hang on the car line directly, but if the NIQ used Lenkradfernbedienungsadapter, it causes the NIQ adapter is not working.
Reason:
The bus line, which is the NIQ adapter required to detect the remote control commands with the Peugeot - Adapter not available (because decoupled).
-> NIQ adapter directly attached to the Peugeot line.
A tip for installation: When expanding the air vent and the Radioblende (radio panel is fastened with 2 Torx screws), then the JVC KD-R90BTE be very convenient to install and because now is open at the top, the cable can be stowed easily, what yes otherwise at the plethora of cable adapter is likely to be a test of patience.
Feature:
By NIQ adapter can control the following functions (currently not tested by me.):
- Volume + and -
- Forward and Back (Radio Frequency, CD title)
- Rotating wheel causes switch on the radio stations stored in memory.
- Button on the front side: source switching (radio, CD, Aux, ...)
This list may not describe because I have only briefly tested the function and needs to make me feel comfortable with the operation in detail.
Optics:
The product is meticulously crafted.
General:
My Peugeot 807 has original built a parking sensor, this works on the reconstruction as well as with original radio.
The display in the 807 now no longer displays text, which communicates with the radio. All other functions are retained.
If the product has run for several months in my car, I'll update the recession.
