Stephen King as a computer game

Alan Wake languished for months unplayed on my hard drive to himself, and I dread the thought that I had this game ultimately never launched. Because without a doubt, I would have missed one of the most intensive computer game adventure games in recent history. It's as if you participate in one of the older Stephen King novels, is zoomed in the American backwoods with small diners, remote homestead, small-minded prejudices and breathtaking nature. Ever, the Level Design: Beautifully, despite narrow tube level with little freedom of movement. Since it is high up on a mountain path, looking down at the old mill that has just barely survived, while a police helicopter filmreif explodes in the distance. While I forget some games quite fast, scenes from Alan Wake remain long in the memory.

The only negative is only this weird over- shoulder this perspective, that I can not get used to quite myself. The small variety of enemy types would bemotzen, but an entire panopticon of monsters would probably not quite match the story. So light, gather courage and play Alan Wake!
