The problem with this book is that if my 7 year old grand laughs like a banana while reading the book to his younger brothers, all 3 year old does not necessarily captures the sense of opposites. My great already knows the contrary (logical) and includes images. While for a 3 year old, it can be a tight coat.
There are easy opposites (sad / gay for example), the "opposites" fun (something (illustrated by a teapot) / anything (illustrated by Pomelo disguised teapot)) and otherwise inaccessible to small (before (illustrated by a strawberry) / after (shown by the stem of the strawberry) typical example of the opposite where my grandfather laughed and my little remained perplexed). There I took one of the most softs examples in inaccessible but there are many others.
As much "Pomelo and forms" or "Pomelo and colors" is wacky and small learning a lot, "Pomelo and opposites" is very funny but less rewarding. Compared to the other 2, in terms of contribution to small, I'm disappointed.
