Sigur Ros, the Icelandic answer to "Radiohead" convinced already on their plate "Ágætis Byrjun" through peaceful, atmospherically extremely dense sounds, supported by spherical chants. And also already in "Ágætis Byrjun" celebrated the Icelandic language as an art form, but not in such a consequence, as on the new disc. On the new album, none of the songs has a title and the "texts" are a pure art form (on the previous album, they were presented in a more Icelandic dialect) - onomatopoeia mutated. Consequently, the album is called then only "clip-on clip-on". () Does in IT circles means "empty argument", which could be described philosophically "as something that is still carried along for historical reasons, but no longer a meaning". This definition would indeed allow the renunciation of language to impose as agreement on a rational level with a little good will, at least, if one applies the strict Sigur Ros-scale. The musical life of Sigur Ros can therefore lie only in the communication readiness of the audience - a fact that is familiar with the band and so the audience also elects a new step in the interaction: On the homepage of Sigur Ros, the fans of the band to inform which words, associations came to them while listening to the individual songs into consciousness. The band flirts then trying to create from the most-called "empty words" lyrics to then turn to share this with the audience - an unusual, but very interesting approach. So putting on the headphones - eyes - lift - to write down and wait.
