Delivery after 3 days in a stable double carton packaging without damage.
The assembly was done quickly to adjust the tracking force - adjusting the counter weight proved to be problematic.
The statement the user manual (clockwise ...) is simply wrong. When set, it also leads to a greater or lesser deviation from the recommended tracking force (2.5 grams), because the weight does not rotate smoothly 100% on the axis. Here is recommended with a good spring scale for the post.
Another point of criticism: the hinges of the supplied tinted dome are extremely poor. The connection to the hood is too much play. But here you can with available materials (tape, felt, etc.) be improved, if one renounces not quite on this dust - DJs will not disturb this point anyway.
The sockets of the RCA connection to the plant located in the rear wall of the housing on a rather shaky shutter that threatening moves when plugging the plug inward - careful handling is advised. The cables themselves are a bit short - after an exchange is possible without any problems because they are not performed in the case.
A ground wire (as in my dual standard) in vain.
Because of the electrostatic charge which mitglieferte felt mat of aluminum turntable pasted already solid at the 3rd LP bonded to it and was immediately replaced by me through the rubber top of my old dual.
Here is obviously saves on the wrong end.
Not look good also makes the arm lift, the little stiff and the other slightly numb in the critical area of fitting is on the one hand - the reviews regarding this component seem right - over the life course, I can make no statement.
Pitch control plus minus 10% is a gimmick for DJs - rather uninteresting in the home area.
The supplied system of Audio Technica is always good for the average listening pleasure - for audiophile pleasure it should be slightly higher-priced (eg from Ortofon).
The sound impression overall is good, noise are limited - may interfere with the running noise but in the classical area in the very quiet passages. This assessment relates to the previously used phono output, ie with preamplifier off.
The lack of limit forces the user to get up after each side of the plate - this one can certainly see positive. Records hearing has something original and habtisches - who does not want the other media should operate.
The digitization of about 600 LPs is not with me in the foreground, so I would like to refer to the other reviewers.
My overall rating (after 1 week): the Omnitronic DD-2520 is a solid player with good sound, but in some details has annoying flaws that could easily be rectified by the manufacturer (except the lift).
He is (include USB and editing software, Strobe Light, pitch control, needle-light, TA system, switchable preamp) taking into account the necessary features but a buy recommendation value for the price paid of well below 200 euros.
