Packing:
Simple, black, classy. Attempts apparently "Apple in dark" display. The cardboard box is the mouse, a USB dongle, a charging cable and a manual, that's it. My feeling for far too little for the price. A charging cradle or at least a significantly longer charging cable as the attached 1m would Logitech not killed, moreover, it is only a stubborn cheap rubberised cables and no polyester-coated. The same applies to the non-existing CD or even a USB stick using the configuration software ("Logitech Options"). OK, are only 8.5 MB for download, but after all we are talking about Logitech's premium flagship!
The installation:
Very easy! Mouse at the bottom enable (already preloaded), USB dongle to the PC plug (if you do not have Bluetooth on the computer), and already the device to connect. Driver loads Win8.1 automatically. The software ("Logitech Options") is to operate not benötitgt! But if you want the sensitivity of the scroll wheel to adjust the pointer speed or, or the key functions prove individually (!) But you need the software. If you want, for example, turn off the "gestures button because he accidentally triggers: Please, possible with the software.

A matter of taste!
Some (like me) are the form like any other - just those who are accustomed only gray 08/15 mice will initially have their hands full with it, because the mouse is by their shape the grip position strongly against. I with my hands mittgelgroßen (size 8.5) but had no problems with it.
The automatically-switching in the sensitivity scroll wheel is awesome! Anyone who has ever used it when rummaging through example. a 60-page long text, it does not want to miss! The same applies to the wheel on the thumb position for sideways scrolling. If you need more rarely, but if so, it is extremely useful!
Bad before I find just the thumb buttons, with which one by default in the browser and back flips. These are to be served much too small to comfortably. For this purpose they are still so strange drop-shaped and equal in size .. scary! As clearly went the form function. Such a thing has lost a mouse to be productive nix, I think! Since the utility should proceed!
The installed laser is certainly not the most sensitive of its kind (only 1,600 dpi max.!) But he works on all surfaces tested by me. Mouse Pads, countertop, glass table, no problem!

Really good mouse, which is aimed at working with high standards of design. Because of the (too) small thumb buttons and without charging cradle is not perfect, but a very solid, functional and shapely companion PC (working) life!
