Successful compilation, but ...

... The song selection has then something surprises me. Clear needs a hit like Living in America (although I think it very mediocre) on the album, but then why not go for it! instead of miserable CANŽT STOP THE FIRE? Why is Measure of a Man by Elton John, which actually originally the Rocky saga concluded not (uncredited running of Rocky V) with it? Instead, an extremely lame remix of the legendary Rocky theme Gonna Fly Now. Especially since a few minutes running time would have been free to the shekel.
But enough bitching. If you put the CD into the player and the famous fanfare sounds, you always forget everything around you. Gonna Fly Now, the timeless eye of the tiger and the atmospheric Going the Distance Open the journey through 30 years Rocky story. Then comes the already mentioned James Brown piece before it goes on a world champion again with the strong REDEMPTION, the FANFARE FOR ROCKY and the Survivor rockers BURNING HART. Also CONQUEST (which occurs in Part 2, 3 and, indeed, the 6th part), ADRIAN, the really good NO EASY WAY OUT and the "sad" ROCKYŽS REWARD know very pleasing. But why ROCKY ALONE IN THE RING, which just has a duration of one minute is on the CD? Who knows. Since Reflections would have been better, or take you back, which indeed is a recurring theme. HEARTŽS ON FIRE I find really Miess as generally everything Vince DiCola wrote for Rocky IV. About CANŽT STOP THE FIRE I have already missed. The emotional MICKEY and the gigantic OVERTURE from Rocky II pull the disc again high, then the only really new track comes from Rocky Balboa, the anthem of Mason Dixon ITŽS A FIGHT (a hip hop piece with which I can not do much) and the also already mentioned remix of the Rocky theme.
I guess 100% satisfied no one will be with the sampler, but the good songs on the album are a real reason to buy. Too bad that Mr. Stallone has not decided to publish a double album with songs from all Rocky movies. Since repeat some songs in the movies, that would have been space technically quite possible. So then remains but unfortunately at the end of the realization that the result could have been better and must fail.
Nevertheless, the album of mine gets 5 stars because some songs are easy for eternity!
