As I said, current games make the map easy. I use it together with a Octacore AMD (4Ghz) and 8GB RAM; runs fine. Benchmarks where this 270X has been tested there is a dime a dozen. If one is interested in exact figures, just google times!
The card has 2x 6 pin power connectors; accordingly you should have at least 2 free. As a single card and in a system that is not overclocked, a 500W power supply should be sufficient for them; For me it works.
Deductions I have the map, but give for the following points:
- Heat: playing it is nice and warm (60-70 ° C)
- Volume: from 45% fan speed is warnehmbar. 55% clearly audible. From 60% you can hear them even better. 80% come a Handstaubsauger equal. 90% still a little louder. At 100%, I hear out no difference to 90%. Playing it often comes only in the 50% range. But could still be quieter.
Therefore 1 star deduction.
* UPDATE 2015 *
Unfortunately my card probably thought it would be too quiet and I would not give her enough attention. So the two fans decided to rattle loudly during load. Since the manufacturer Sturr presented and Amazon could not offer new for me, the card reluctantly went back. Very sad, but apparently the problem is not an isolated case (at DualX fans). So I have the card retrospectively pull another star.
Price-performance Technically, I would like to give an update. Normally, you should expect that the price drops. However, the price here is still pretty much the same, even though the card has more than 1 year old. Who still 20 - 30 EUR has left, should resort to R9 280. It has, depending on the system, 40-60% more power. The "X" series can be ignored in the 280s. The difference in performance is
