Since I was planning a China trip this year and perfect pictures wants, this time I wanted to make any compromises and have the Canon EOS 1000D bought. Any professional photographer will surely turn up their noses at this device - as an ambitious amateur photographer as an inexpensive alternative to the compact camera, this device is, however, highly recommended. Pretty much every shot is a hit - even with the fully automatic mode. Who wants to tackle it more accurately, has innumerable settings in Program AE.
The pictures themselves are crisp and capture every little detail. The color rendering is perfect. More can not be said for the image quality really. The operation is very easy to understand and also for beginners immediately. If you want to use the Live Mode (the picture is displayed in real time on the display), but have to dig in the manual because this feature is a bit hidden. However, I advise on the live mode. Firstly, it is much more fun to look straight through the viewfinder and also the tripping times are reduced if the Live mode is disabled. The heat when Live Mode is the way affect the image quality is minimal.
The camera is relatively easy for a DSLR in weight (450g). Who has been photographed only with compact will, however, have to get used something. Is just not "clippers" but a camera! But :-) You can learn quickly with the fortuitous weight deal and quickly realizes that a higher weight certainly is beneficial for blur-free images.
Included with the camera, unfortunately, is no memory card and no pocket. The camera has a continuous shooting (sports) 3 frames / sec. Therefore it is better to rely on the memory card to 8GB SDHC Class6 least or Class10. The higher the class the faster the memory and the need to prevent the camera from the images also can save correspondingly quickly.
5 Stars!
