Super quiet hard drive with ordinary transfer rates at a reasonable price.

After I read some reviews here that this disk einstuften were loud, but I already called a whisper Hitachi hard drive with 500GB my own, I ordered this drive here to my mustard to give it and to refute this sourpuss in turn swear by WD hard drives (Hitachi and WD belong to the same group). I have installed my hard drive in a Zalman ZM-VE300 USB 3.0 housing and can only say one thing: You just do not hear anything! Neither a clack, still humming or chatter ... at best a slight noise if you put your ear to the case. (Clearly the case isolated a little) but who already operates a "relatively" sensitive 2.5 "hard drive without housing?

Each model has its pros and cons as to the advantages of this model is certainly one of the SATAIII interface which, though by no means even begin Maxed, but simply feel good means that it is in there.
Furthermore - and this was the KO criterion par excellence for me - this hard drive is only 9.5mm high and can thus be easily installed in all external housing. Try that with a 12.5mm or 15mm thick hard drive from WD or Toshiba.

All in all I am very pleased with the hard disk and can really recommend it to anyone who wants to upgrade their notebook or just need a brisk, big, mobile and external storage.
