- NTFS pre-formatted, 931GB usable (thus the same for files> 4GB suitable)
- Very valuable processed and pretty to look at, aluminum + black stripe, connections feel when plugging well to
- Very easy
- Very quiet (even when copying the running noise is only audible when you listen with the ear directly on the housing)
- Speed USB 3.0 really top (no comparison to USB 2.0, to which connected the speed but also
is fine!) / depends anyway on the type and number of files to be copied from (many small vs. few large etc.)
- But blue activity light, my relatively unimportant, is inserted in response to the corner of the housing
- Very short cable, sufficient for use on the laptop, could on PC tower but be may be difficult
I want to particularly mention the issue of the package at this point!
What seems normal and compact at first glance, is a disaster of plastic. Four internal weld points to unreachable places make it impossible to align by hand something. Use scissors to run due to the strange corners and the form of two nested plastic boxes danger to scratch the disk or even damaging - even before commissioning, bah! Done has ultimately a cutter and then massive tug at the weld points. Actually, I wanted to use the packaging as a storage box on, now it is chaffed in the trash. It's worth it to me a star deduction for an otherwise great external hard drive.
The long-term quality remains to be seen, I can not say anything yet. Nothing's it. :)
Thanks for reading!
