Have compared the device with a Technisat receivers in the same price category and have decided the following reasons for the Ariva 103.

++ Integrated card reader for Irdeto suitable ORF (at TechniSat would about 50 more for the CI + module mean)
+ Much more compact design
+ Switches felt to twice as fast as the others.
+ Remote control is not so huge.
+ Free software updates / tuning / favorites list went smoothly
+ Full-text search stations by name possible (eg it can be entered and all ORF channels are listed with this name)

- Menu a bit strange (partly impossible without description)

All in all a highly recommendatory receiver, for those who do not expect frills and want an integrated card reader.
