After I had so looked at some radio stations, which are also compatible with the iPhone, the decision was obvious. Pricing is the transmitter (was available) to a new radio clear advantage.
When the part arrived, had the transmitter in the practical test, which consisted of the journey from Kassel to Braunschweig. The transmitter was connected and immediately recognized by the Iphone. Coupling worked right away, so I really had not expected. One knows that the problem, which Apple products have with others. The frequency which was shown to me as "free", was set on the Radio - Playlist on the iPhone selected and started and going on the trip was having the desired music.
The sound was really good and compared to the otherwise used music CDs no worse.
Then I was startled a little, the music started and it was quiet .......... After 2 sec. Resounded from the speakers at one time my ringtone. I pressed the big button on the transmitter and said in a normal voice, "Hello?". (Speed good 120) My interlocutor answered and also was very good to understand and praised the clarity of me. The voice quality was excellent and neither I nor my interlocutor had problems to understand the other. When the conversation was finished there was a small Pipston and soon after launched the music at the place where the call has been accepted. Very cool thing for audio books I thought to myself, as I like to listen to those on longer journeys. (I was all 4 called on the journey times and there was no discussion in trouble.)
After I had a few kilometers traveled (I was close to Göttingen), the music began to rustle and I did not hear my music, but that of a radio. So I had with the + and - buttons are looking for a new free frequency and adjust the radio on. I had the old frequency unfortunately already stored on the radio, which I thus had to save again. After everything was set again I heard my music again. Unfortunately, the frequency was not the best, because I had to repeat all 3 times on the way the games. But perhaps I had just bad luck - you'd have to look again on the Internet, what frequencies are not being used, then the situation described would certainly disappear.
What I have noticed when driving? The blue light is slightly lighter than that from Golf4 speedometer, but still fits well with this. The attached transmitter is held with a magnetic ring, which does its job quite well. One can (or I have not yet found the function) does not skip individual songs, except directly at IPhone. Since the use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited but - as long as the engine is running - you really have to every song by listening to or to be "caught" one risks.
Summary: Pairing with the phone works great simply, the transmission is quality Technically really good and the phone while driving has never been so easy and "safe" (before any penalties). That you do not the songs can skip is really a pity, therefore, a star less.
Summary: I have not regretted the purchase and use it daily to the 20 min. Drive to fill to work with my music! Simply put transmitter in the cigarette lighter, if necessary, by the way mobile charge (which is an absolute plus for longer trips), start music list and start driving. In these trips I had never the problem described above of frequency changing, have probably found in Braunschweig and around the right :-)
