Included with the casing includes a USB 3.0 cable, an AC adapter, a guide, a pedestal and the appropriate screws.

The housing is very small and only slightly larger than the hard drive itself (approx 11 x 18 x 3 cm).

As hard drive I ordered here at Amazon a "Western Digital 2TB WD20EARX".

The installation itself is very easy and done within 2 minutes.

On the back there is next to the USB 3.0 and the power supply a small slide switch on and off the hard drive.

An LED located at the front of the blue light is lit during operation and flashes during data transfer.

After about 10 minutes of non-use, the disk turns off and goes into standby mode.

The transfer rates over USB 3.0 exceed all my expectations: According CrystalDiskMark disk reaches a reading speed of 120 MB / s and a write speed of 95 MB / s (a screen shot there in the Amazon customer picture gallery).

Am completely satisfied with the housing and can really recommend it unreservedly.
