Surprisingly varied!

At first I was very skeptical about Fergie's debut album The Dutchess: Does she have what it takes to carry a whole album alone? If they convince me solo as well as to Black-Eyed Peas times? The answers are: Yes! Although her album contains many typical R'n'B / hip-hop pieces, also elements of pop, rock and are even (!) - It's amazing - represented Reggae. I never thought that Fergie is so diverse! Vocally she is as good as ever and she gives each of her songs to the desired depth and expressiveness, sometimes even "goose bumps". I think that fans of hip-hop music enjoy the album as much as pop fans. Believe me, Fergie's The Dutchess has, despite its quite get used to the first single "London Bridge" deserves to be at least sample belongs. My favorite numbers on the album are the following pieces:

Fergalicious: A brilliant start of a musical bouquet with different varieties. The play could also come from around the BEP occupation. Old fans will not be disappointed and so this piece is probably the bridge to Fergie's solo career is.

GLAMOROUS: A great "lifestyle Song" with unusual subliminal drama in the melody. This song can be enjoyed due to the great lyrics and the quiet R'n'B sounds. Furthermore sounds Fergie's voice throughout the song breathed softly.

MARYJANE SHOES: The most entertaining song the whole plate! He begins with typical reggae sound of Bob Marley's "No Woman No Cry" and ends in a crunchy rock anthem a la Blink 182. Here Fergie proves once and for all how versatile it is.

LOSING MY GROUND: In my opinion the radiotauglichste song by The Dutchess. A pure pop piece that could well come from a girl group. As you can see that Fergie could take the vocal presence of several members of a music group.
